Verizon, Motorola unveil the Droid

The new phone by Verizon, called the Droid is so cool because it has a really big touch screen and good graphics. This awesome smartphone will be $199 with a two year contract. That is so cool! The phone is 4.6 inches tall, 2.4 inches wide, o.5mm thick and it weighs 6 ounces. The size of the touch screen is 3.7 inch, 16:9 with 480x854 pixel resolution. Now this is a really big phone! It has a 5-megapixel camera, WiFi bluetooth, and GPS. This is the coolest phone ever!

Spirit's Escape Plan Falters

Poor Spirit. She is stuck in a sand trap. This is why the people of NASA are staging an escape from the sand trap for Spirit. She is tilted in a diagonally way. NASA tried to get her out of the sand trap. Do you think NASA will get Spirit out of the sand trap? Do you think Spirit will survive. We will have to find out. The picture below shows the way Spirit is tilted. They will defiantly try to rescue Spirit from the sand trap.

32 Planets Discovered Outside the Solar System

Wow so far away! 32 planets have been discovered outside the solar system. Now those are a lot of planets that Udry discovered. Amazing. Did you know that the Chilean telescope can detect movement as small as 3.5 km/hr (2.1 mph) can you believe that! Udry is really smart because he found the planets outside of the solar system.

Tiny T.rex

Did you know that the an adult raptorex is nine feet tall and weighs 150 pounds. Wow now that is a big animal! It was dicovered in the lake beds in mortheastern china. That is really far from here. It lived 60 million years far back even before the T.Rex. But it weights almost 100 times less than an adult T.Rex. Can you believe that! The fierce raptorex roamed china 125 years ago. But after the raptorex got extinct, scientist put on a display near the actual excavation site.
