Tangerine Extra Credit

The book Tangerine has things to do with ecology because there are two animals Koi Fish and and Osprey. Koi fish can live for two hundred years. Also, if koi fish are put in oceans or any body of water with plants in it can kill it and make the water deadly. Some koi fish can be bought at pet stores and they could be worth almost $60,000 and they can be really expensive. A cool fact is that there is a koi fish in this country that is over one meter in length.
Now lets talk about the osprey. An osprey can grow twenty four inches with a six feet wing span. An osprey is a large black and white diving which means that it dives down in the water gets a fish and comes back up and eats it. It builds a nest on dead trees and maybe even a telephone poll near bodies of water. A cool fact is that just one nest can weigh up to one thousand pounds. The osprey can fly 40 mph in the air and 80 mph under water.

A Biotic Limiting Factor

The picture above represents a biotic limiting factor. This tree limits the sunlight that needs to go to the small plants under the tree to help them grow. Also, this tree limits the water from rain that waters the plants to also help them grow. Trees also limit the wood which we use to build shelter and people use the shelter to live in. They limit the small animals that live in it like birds, chipmunks, and squirrels. These trees limit the oxygen it provides us with. For Example when people cut down the trees they limit the oxygen that it provides humans and animals.

The Amazing boy

This little 4-year old boy plays the song "I Hate Myself For Loving You" on the drums. It is really, really good. once you see this video you will be amazed, literally. He plays the drums better than any teenager. He is really good, which is my opinion. The funny part in the video is when he plays, he sometimes makes weird face expressions and he also drops his drum stick while playing the song. Go to the following website below to be amazed at what this little four year old boy can do. This boy is so good he should play a song on Good Morning America or any other famous TV news show.

Nintendo to unveil 3-D gaming console

Nintendo has a new gaming console called the 3DS, which is supposed to let you play games in 3-D. You don't even have to wear glasses to play in 3-D. But, the Nintendo Company still does not know how to make this work. The console won't go on sale until June at the earliest. The president of the Nintendo Company named Satoru Iwata said "I have doubts whether people will be wearing glasses to play games at home." In the end, Nintendo said the 3DS will go out on sale before the company's next fiscal year ends, on March 31,2011. Earlier this year, Sony said that they have a new software that will allow 3-D gaming on the Playstation 3 console. Some game developers are working on techniques that will make their games in 3-D on Microsoft's Xbox 360 device and on PCs. But, those systems will require the use of 3-D glasses.
